Of the editors I queried and presented the story, I realized there was quite the interest in a sci-fi romance. Sure enough, with a few email inquiries to understand the story, the characters, and the world of the characters, I was pleased with the exchange that led up to the initial edits. Of course, that was just the first pass and as it turns out, that’s also where my involvement with my story ended.
